Mr. Gilliam passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2015 in Lawton, Oklahoma.
David Ray Gilliam Sr. was born December 5, 1958 in Lawton, Oklahoma. He grew up in Fletcher where he attended Fletcher High School. David married Dixie Nix in 1977 and the couple had two children. He worked for Maremont Corporation in Chickasha for around 10 years. David moved to Lawton a few years ago to live with his son. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, fishing, and Ford Mustangs.
David is survived by his son, Davy Gilliam Jr., of Lawton; his daughter, Dawn Dettlaff and her husband Donald, of Coyle; 1 brother, Gary Gilliam and his wife Sonya, of Cyril; 1 sister, Jeannette Gilliam, of Anadarko; and 1 grandson, Daegun Dettlaff, of Coyle.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Jay and Maria Gilliam.
