IRVING: Ann M. Snyder, 77, of Versailles Road, Irving, died Saturday, May 25th, at Elderwood Health Care at Lakewood, Hamburg, following a short illness. She was born in Buffalo, on November 14, 1935, the daughter of the late Gerald and Alice (Hughes) Roetzer.

Mrs. Snyder was a graduate of Silver Creek Central School, Class of 1953 and she along with her late husband, William M. Snyder, whom she married Sept. 4, 1954 in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel RC Church, Silver Creek and who died Oct. 26, 2010, owned & operated a small grape farm in Irving, for over 40 years. She was a very active member of St. Rose of Lima RC Church, Forestville and was a member of the Red Hat Society.

Survivors include a son, William (Kay) Snyder, of Apalachin, NY and a sister, Alice (William) Harford, of Silver Creek. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren, Sara, Peter & Chrissy, Brett, Sharon & Cynthia Snyder, 2 great grandchildren Aleisha Stevens & Casey Cheresnowsky, 1 great-great granddaughter Ellie Mae and several nieces & nephews. Besides her parents and husband she was predeceased by a son Bruce Maynard Snyder and by a sister Mary Lou Ross.
