Greathouse and family, and Rosetta and Newton Barnes and family all moved to Oklahoma, where George Senior died on 25 or 26 March 1892. A Concordia, KS news article announces Caroline's return to her farm in Nelson Township 27 July 1893. George's Will is probated in Cloud County, KS January 1894, showing his farm was kept intact during the time they had moved to Oklahoma. His will leaves all his property to his wife, Caroline during her lifetime as his widow, and to son, Stephen A. Douglas Greathouse after her demise.
