Mrs. Hogg, daughter of the late Daniel Luther (D.L.) and Gertrude (Proffer) Sanders, was born February 5, 1921, in Poplar Bluff, MO.
She was a homemaker and had taught at Bluff City Business Collage in Poplar Bluff. Mrs. Hogg was a member of the First Christian Church. She enjoyed ceramic painting and in earlier years she enjoyed playing golf.
On April 14, 1940, she married Paul Edmund Hogg at the First Christian Church in Poplar Bluff. He preceded her in death on May 5, 2014.
Survivors include two sons: Paul Daniel (Marissa) Hogg and James Roger Hogg, all of Poplar Bluff; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
A sister, Dixie Lee Allard preceded her in death.
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday at First Christian Church, in Poplar Bluff with the funeral following at 11:00 a.m. Her grandson, Jacob Hogg will officiate. Burial will be in the Wood Lawn section of the Poplar Bluff City Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorials be made to the Northside Nutrition Center, 1450 Garfield St., Poplar Bluff, MO 63901, or to the First Christian Church.
