J.T. Adams Dies
Funeral Services to be Held at Home at 2:30 o’clock Friday
The death of J. T. Adams occurred early Wednesday morning at the home, 329 South Missouri street. The funeral service will be held from the home at 2:30 o’clock Friday afternoon with interment at Greenwood, Mo. The service will be in charge of Rev. I. T. Whitcomb of the Greenwood Baptist church. Mr. Adams was an active member of the Baptist church in Liberty.
Mr. Adams was born in Harrodsburg, Ky., and came to Missouri with his parents when he was nine years old. He lived in Jackson County until twenty years ago when he moved to Liberty. He was with the Missouri Seed Company, the J. G. Peppard Seed Company, and the Sioux City Seed company as a salesman for the past twenty-five years.
He is survived by his wife, Margaretta Dodd Adams of the home; a daughter, Millicent Adams of Paducah, Ky.; three sons, the Rev. Jas. A. Adams, Lexington; A. D. Adams, Oklahoma City; J. R. Adams, Summit, N. J., all of whom will be here for the funeral expect J. D., who only recently visited his parents. He also leaves five grandchildren and two sister, Mrs. E. H. Collins and Miss Tillie C. Adams of Kansas City, and three brothers, A. R. Adams of Kansas City, Mo.; J. G. Adams of Columbia, MO., and Dr. L. S. Adams, Wichita, Kansas.
