Mr Rowe was born July 11, 1910 in Butler to Henry and Bertha (Worthington) Rowe. He was married to Geraldine Miller on Oct 25, 1967, and she survives.
He was a member of the National Guard. He worked as a meat cutter at Van Wagner's for 27 years and was also a farmer.
He was a former member of the Angola Moose Lodge for over 25 years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He raised and trained hunting dogs and horses.
Also surviving are three daughters; two stepdaughters; a stepson of Lafayette LA; 11 grandchildren; nine stepgrandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Robert Rowe, in 2004; five sisters, Mary Zimmerman, Edith Sipe, Lulu Rowe, Thelma Dotts and Lucille Cope; and three brothers, Glen, John and Lawrence Rowe.
Services will be at 3 pm Friday at Weicht Funeral Home, Angola, with the Rev Jim Hulbert officiating. Calling will be Friday from 1-3 pm. Burial will be in South Scott Cemetery Steuben County.
