She passed away on Friday, Dec. 11, 1931 at her residence on 10 Streeth, Victor Mill village. She had lived in the Upper Greenvill County, SC section for the greater part of her life and was the daughter of Richard and Emmie Lindsey Howard. She was the wife of Rufus Pruitt. Survivors included the following children: Mrs. Vernon Howard, Clyde, ALvin, and Ansel Pruitt. Five brothers, Massie, Bryson, Raymond, Garfield and Andy Howard, one sister, Mrs. Horace Howard.
