CHARLES J. KUCA, 50, WEST HIGH RESIDENT

Charles Joseph Kuca, 50, of 1620 W. High, who owned and operated the Buckeye Television Service, died at 12:20 a.m. today at Piqua Memorial Hospital where he was admitted Tuesday at 12:55 a.m. He had suffered with a coronary condition since February 28 of this year when he had his first heart attack.

Born in Chicago, July 17, 1907, he was the son of Joseph and Frances Lis Kuca. He attended school in Chicago and was a World War II veteran, serving one year in action in Europe. His marriage to Miss Betty Kiefer of Piqua took place at Grand Rapids, Mich., May 5, 1942.

Mr. Kuca was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church, the American Legion and Piqua Lodge 523, BPOE.

Surviving are his wife, Betty; two children, Kay and Jay Kuca, at home; four sisters, Mrs. John Banasik (Catherine), Mrs. John Bugumil (Sophie), Miss Mary Kuca, all of Chicago, and Mrs. Paul Touchman (Stella) of Dayton, and a brother, Kasmer Kuca of Chicago.

The Rev. Robert Von Kaenel will officiate at the Requeim Mass at 9 a.m. Friday at St. Mary's Church with burial in Forest Hill Cemetery.

Friends may call after 2 p.m. Thursday at the Madison-Krabill Home for Funerals where the family will receive callers from 3 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The Elks will hold a Lodge of Sorrow at 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
