Marcus Collins, age 80, of Pine Top Road Russell Springs, Kentucky and formerly of Leslie County, Kentucky passed away Saturday, January 02, 2010 at University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. He was the father of Jeff Collins of New Boston, Michigan and Julie Collins Schwartz of Canton, Michigan. The brother of Gladys Couch and Marie Sizemore, both of Lily, Kentucky, Betsy Guernsey of Lexington, Kentucky, Lily Gibson and Benny Ray Collins, both of London, Rufus Collins of Byrdstown, Tennessee, and Velma Cox of St. Louis, Missouri. Funeral Services for Marcus Collins will be conducted Tuesday, January 05, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. in London Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Craig Schwartz officiating. Burial will follow at Collins Family Cemetery in Leslie County, Kentucky with the D.A.V. in charge of military honors.
