Mrs. Gloria P. Fields, age 77 of Griffin, Georgia passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2015 at Brightmoor Hospice.
Mrs. Fields was born in Griffin, Spalding County, Georgia on September 15, 1937. She is preceded in death by her parents Henry Grady Pilcher and Mary W. Pilcher; husband Frank Fields; son, Jimmy Fields; daughter, Cindy Fields; brothers, Buck Pilcher and Billy Pilcher.
Mrs. Fields was a member of Vineyard Baptist Church for over 53 years.
Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Wanda and Jimmy Whitley, Karen and Bob Monteith, Dixie and Tim Edwards; grandchildren, Shelby Fields Foster, Christie Whitley Romine, Melissa Fields Stickler, Sherri Whitley Atkinson, Jamie Pilkenton, Ryan Edwards, Jessica Fields Hopper, Joshua Fields, Geoff Edwards; 11 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Mrs. Gloria Fields will be on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 from 2:00pm until 4:00pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Following the visitation a funeral services will be in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Reverend Ralph Simmons will officiate. Interment will follow in Westwood Gardens.
