Lora May (Dutch) Steber, 98, of Olney passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney.

Dutch was born September 14, 1916 in Richland County, the daughter of Dee Ogden and Lucy Ethel (Bateman) Huffman.

She married Elmer Joseph Steber on December 30, 1936. He preceded her in death on March 28, 1991.

Dutch always enjoyed her afternoons of playing cards. She loved Cardinal baseball and visiting with her many friends and family. She was a great wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, great and great, great grandmother. You would always see her with a smile on her face. She lived and loved life. She also told some wonderful stories and touched many people's lives.

Dutch was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Olney.

She is survived by her sister, Juanita Burgener-Crites; daughter-in-law, Pam Steber; grandchildren, Tina Steber, Lori Smith and Danny Steber; step grandchild, Jeff Miller, twelve great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, children, David, Terry and Dan Steber, sisters, Lola Schwartz and Mary Webber, brothers, Albert (Putt) Huffman, Lyle (Buck) Huffman, and Herman Dee (Buddy) Huffman, and grandson, Joey Steber.
