He received his education in the Hyde PArk schools and has been a resident of Malad City for 54 years. He was an active member of the LDS Church, secretary of the Elders Quorum and member of the High Priest Quorum. He was a barber by trade.
Survivors include two sons and two daughters, Varsel L. and Grant V., both of Malad: Mrs. William(Jeneva)Evans, Logan, UT; 12 grand children-16 great grandchildren. Two brothers and one sister, Junius E.,Caldwell, ID; Howard E., Los Angeles, CA., and Mrs. Mabel Matkin, Ogden, UT.
