Mrs. Rachel Avery, 74, of the town of Herman, died at her home Wednesday morning after a long illness. She had been a resident of the town of Herman for 25 years, and prior to that lived in Duluth, coming here in 1880. She is survived by her husband, Charles L.; two daughters, Mrs. S. Burton, Jamestown, N.D., and Mrs. J. S. Spence, Duluth; and one son, Elvin of Herman. The body is at Joseph Olson's mortuary pending funeral arrangements.
