Harold was born in New Boston, Ohio, April 17, 1930 to the late Edgar and Edna Burriss Christy.
Harold was a tool maker for the National Electric Coil Company in Columbus, Ohio for 30 years in which he retired from. He was a member of the Garrison First Baptist Church in Garrison, Kentucky.
Surviving is a daughter- Gale Harnish of Deltona, Florida.
Two brothers- Howard Christy and Bill Christy both of Columbus, Ohio.
Three granddaughters- Kelli Evans, Ashley Cooper, and Nikki Colvin.
Two great-granddaughters- Emma Davis and Brooke Evans.
Many other family and friends also survive who will mourn his passing.
Preceded in death beside his parents was his wife Janice Louise Hayes Christy in 2013. A son Terry Christy in April 24, 2006.
Funeral services will be Thursday April 30, 2015 @ 1:00 p.m. at the Gaydos Funeral Home with Brother Wes Cooper officiating. Burial will follow in the Waring Cemetery in Garrison, Kentucky.
Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday April 29, 2015 and from 8:00 a.m. until time of services Thursday at the Gaydos Funeral Home, 159 2nd Street, Vanceburg, Kentucky, 41179.
