Tony Andrew Snow, 71, of Terre Haute, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2014, at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

He was born on Aug. 26, 1943, in Terre Haute, to Otto and Flossie (Bemis) Snow.

He married Linda Lou Crabb in 1963, and together they raised two sons.

Tony was a painting and drywall finish contractor for over 25 years. He then worked in the maintenance department at Rose-Hulman for 15 years before retiring in 2008. He was a coach for the Terre Haute North Little League for many years. In his spare time, he loved to play golf with Linda and his many friends. He was on several golf leagues. Every Tuesday, Tony and his buddies, Ed, Dick and Ken, would go play at different courses in the area. He looked forward to mushroom hunting every spring. Tony loved animals. He had several dogs throughout the years that were close companions. The birds and squirrels of the neighborhood enjoyed the seeds that Tony would put out just for them. Most of all, Tony cherished the time that he spent with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Joann Lovett.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 12, at Mattox-Wood Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made in Tony's name to the Rheumatoid Arthritis Foundation.
