LANCASTER, SC Mrs. Juanita Neely Hudson, age 91, died Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at White Oak Manor. She was born October 11, 1923 in Lancaster, the daughter of the late Henry Grover Neely and Dessie Mae Connor Neely and was the wife of the late James Henry Hudson. Mrs. Hudson was a member of Old Waxhaw Presbyterian Church. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed cooking, cleaning, sewing and loved beautiful flowers.

Mrs. Hudson is survived by a daughter, Linda Pardue and her husband Wayne of Lancaster, one sister, Lucille Vaughn of Lancaster and two half-sisters, Ila Parks and Maureen Anderson of Lancaster, half- brother Wendell Neely of Lancaster, two grandchildren, Angie Elder and her husband John of West Virginia and Tracy Head of Easley SC, and one great-grandchild, Thomas Elder of West Virginia.

Mrs. Hudson was preceded in death by a daughter Sandra Head, two brothers, James Neely and Heyward Neely, six sisters, Willie Ballard, Susie Turner, Ruth Jhant, Virginia Funderburk, Alice Hilton and Bobbye Vaughn.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Hudson will be 3:00 pm, Thursday, August 27, 2015 at The Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home by Rev. Shane Owens. Burial will follow at Old Waxhaw Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 2:00 – 3:00 pm Thursday, at Burgess Funeral Home and suggest memorial contributions be made to Old Waxhaw Presbyterian Church, PO Box 550, Lancaster, SC 29721.
