Loretta C. Loehr; age 88, formerly of 621 S. Madison Street, Chilton, passed away on Thursday Oct. 24, 1991 at the Americana Health Care Center in Green bay. She was born August 16, 1903 in St. John, daughter of the late Anton and Katherine (Kalt) Loehr. She was bookkeeper for Loehr’s Creamery and General Merchandise Store in St. John for many years. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Chilton; and St. John the Baptist in St. John. She was also a member of the Mission Society. Survivors include two sisters and a brother-in-law: Sister M. DeCarmel, Silverlake Convent, Manitowoc; Katherine and Harold Buhl, Chilton; a brother, Rev. Alfred M. Loehr, Green Bay. She was preceded in death by a brother, Herbert, and by a sister and brother-in-law Delphine and Leon Kesler. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, grandnieces and nephews and great-grandnieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, October 28, 1991 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, St. John with the Rev. Kenneth Frozena, Rev. Loren Nys S.D.S. and the Rev. Alfred Loehr concelebrating the Mass. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the Wieting Funeral Home in Chilton from 4 to 7 p.m. on Sunday and on Monday from 7:45 a.m. until 9 a.m. then at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of service. A parish prayer service will be at 5 p.m. Sunday evening at the funeral home.
