Katrina Maggie Alexander, 92, of 222 Lasker Ave. died Saturday at a local hospital.

Graveside services will be at 2:30 pm Tuesday at Rosemound Cemetery, the Rev. Victor Hankinson and the Rev. Pat McClatchy officiating.

Mrs. Alexander was born Dec. 6, 1896 in Indian Territory near what is now Pauls Valley, OK. She attended school in Harrisburg and the Brice community in Hall County.

She married Robert Moore Alexander in 1915 in Clarendon, Tx; he died in 1936 in Waco. They lived in Claude, Houston and Bryan before they came to Waco in 1926.

Mrs. Alexander worked at Sanger Bros. at Fourth Street and Austin Avenue. She also was a manager and buyer at Monnig's Department Store for 17 years. She then became an advertising representative in a seven-state area. She retired in Beaumont before she moved back to Waco. She was Methodist.

Survivors include a daughter, Dell Marie Bowden of Waco; a half sister, Mrs. H. E. (Sis) Johnson of Cleveland, Texas: two grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
