Adventurer. Born in Switzerland, he arrived to Argentina in the 1920´s. He made a horse ride from Buenos Aires to New York with two horses ("Mancha" and "Gato.) On September 22th, 1928, after three years, four months and six days and 504 stages Tschifelly arrived with "Mancha" at New York ("Gato" remained sick at Mexico City.) He wrote the books "Tschifelly´s Ride," "The Tale of Two Horses," "Bohemia Junction," "Bridle Paths" and "This Way Southward." "Gato" died in 1944 and "Mancha" in 1947. Aimé Tschifelly died in London in 1954. Originally buried at Recoleta Cemetery in Buenos Aires, in 1998 his ashes were moved to be buried with "Mancha" and "Gato.".
