NEIBAUER – Geraldine M., 91, Hastings, formerly of Patton, passed away April 5, 2015, at Golden Living Center, HAIDA. Born Oct. 17, 1923, in Patton, daughter of Vincent and Della (McConnell) Bender. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her former husband, Germaine Neibauer; sister, Catherine Long; and brothers, John, Daniel, Charles and Earl. Survived by her daughter, Della (Gary) Gens, Patton; granddaughter, Lisa (Jeff) Kubalek, Patton; sister, Loretta Springer, Altoona; and numerous nieces and nephews. She retired as a nurses aide from Laurel Crest Manor after many years of service. Member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Patton, and was an avid bingo player. Friends will be received from 9 to 10:45 a.m. Friday, April 10, at Stevens Funeral Home Inc., 1004 N. Fifth Ave., Patton, Pa. 16668. Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Patton, by Benedictine Fathers. Committal, St. Mary’s Cemetery, Patton. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to Shriners Hospital, 3551 N. Broad St., Philadelphia, Pa. 19140-4131, or St. Vincent DePaul Food Pantry, 323 Mellon Ave., Patton, Pa. 16668.
