Rhonda Rebecca Graham, age 51, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, June 6, 2006 at Hospice House of Odessa.
She was born July 3, 1954 in Odessa to Loy Hugh and Pauline "Polly" (Murray) Mead.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a nephew, Jason Kelly Hill. Rhonda married Steve Graham on December 20, 1970 in Whitharral, Texas. She attended Odessa High School and worked at Medical Center Hospital (2 West) and for Dr. Cepero for many years.
She is survived by Stephen Graham, her loving husband of 35 years, daughters, Stephanie Graham and April Wheeler and husband, Jim, one granddaughter, Jordyn Rebecca Graham all of Odessa, sisters Suzanne Smith and husband Charlie of Odesssa, Johnnie Reed and husband, Dean of Gardendale and Jimmie Benton of Clyde, Texas, brothers, Audie Mead and wife, Evelyn and Rocky Mead all of Odessa and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Rhonda loved taking care of her family, working in her yard, cooking and baking. But what she loved probably more than these was being a grandmother to Jordyn, her "Angel." Jordyn will miss her MeMe. We will miss our Rhonda. We will mourn her passing, celebrate her life and cherish her memories until we meet again.
Visitation will begin at 8 a.m. Friday, June 9, 2006, at Acres West Funeral Chapel. Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday, June 12, 2006, at West Odessa First Baptist Church with Doctor Jimmy Braswell officiating assisted by Pastor Johnny Graham.
Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel of Odessa.
Pallbearers will be Jim Wheeler, Chris Reed, Dean Reed, Charlie Smith, Chad Mead and Joey White.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Hospice House, 903 North Sam Houston Ave., Odessa, Texas 79761.
Our families would like to express deepest appreciation to the staff of Hospice House of Odessa.
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing. 2 Timothy 4:7-8.
