James H. Sellars died at his home near Upper Lake last night. We have not learned the cause of his death.

Parents and location of birth other than Ohio, unknown. The earliest record is 21 Mar 1861, in Fulton County, Illinois when he married Susanna Flake. He may have had a brother named John who had a wife and three children. This is determined by a picture with the following in the hand writing of his granddaughter Daisy. "Mama's Uncle John, brother of Grampa Sellars."
