JACQUELINE LEE DRAKE A graveside service for Jacqueline "Jackie" Drake, 82 of Chico will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at Glen Oaks Memorial Park. Jackie passed away on April 20, 2015 of natural causes. She was born on July 30, 1932 in Placerville, Ca. to Herbert McCullough and Anita Smith. Jackie attended Placer Union High School 1951. She married Melvin "Bud" Drake on June 23, 1951. Jackie retired from Pacific Bell Telephone Company in Chico, then worked part- time at Mervyn's in Chico. Jackie also volunteered at Paw Prints and American Cancer Society . She was a member of Photo Club. She loved and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Gardening, photography. She had a love for dogs, fostered many. Embroidery work, playing Skip Bo. Family was very important to her. Jackie is survived by daughters: Loretta Ellis {Bob}, Christine Drake Medina. Grandaughters : Ruth Ellis, Carli Medina, Katie Medina Stilwell {Cody}: sister Joan McKee, brother: Ed Doane{Linda}.
