Sandra G. Reeves, 74, Cottages at Garden Grove, Cicero, formerly of DeWitt, died Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at her home. Born in Cortland, on May 10, 1940, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Brown. A resident of the Syracuse area for most of her life, Sandra was educated in Cortland High School. She married Richard L. Reeves in Fairmount on July 15, 1961. Mr. Reeves died on May 1, 2009. Mrs. Reeves was a homemaker and attended DeWitt Community Church Surviving are, two daughters and one son-in-law, Jill Indivero of Cicero and Jodi and Scott Decker of LaFayette; three sons and two daughters-in-law, R. Scott and Aimee Reeves of Jamesville, Paul L. and Valarie Reeves of Dublin, California and Stephen Reeves of LaFayette; one stepdaughter and her husband, Melissa and Ken Szymaszek of Williamsville; one stepson and his wife, Van and Carol Reeves of Amherst and 13 grandchildren. The family wishes to thank the Cottages at Garden Grove for the love and care given to Sandra during this time and request, in her memory, contributions may be made to the Cottages at Garden Grove, 8687 Jamboree Drive, Cicero, NY 13039. Graveside services were held Saturday, at the convenience of the family, on the family plot in Oneida Castle Cemetery, with the Reverend Brian Fellows, officiating. There were no calling hours.
