Sylvia Miramontes Warren, 74, passed away Thursday, March 26, 2015 in Phoenix, Arizona. She was born October 23, 1940 in Rosario, Sinaloa, Mexico to Tomasita Ramos-Castañeda and Antonio Miramontes. Sylvia was a homemaker and was of Roman Catholic faith. She loved music, computers, drawing, mathematics, cake decorating, continuing her college education, and most of all her family.

Sylvia is survived by her daughters, Rose Delgado (Chris) of San Diego, CA, Gwen Kruger (Jake) of San Diego, CA, Stella Stout of New Boston, NH, and Barbara DeMartino (John) of Niagara Falls, NY; sons, Victor Warren (Stacey) of San Diego, CA and Roger Warren (Celeste) of San Diego, CA; mother, Tomasita Ramos- Castañeda of Yuma, AZ; brothers, Antonio Miramontes (Alice) of El Paso, TX, Manuel Castañeda (Rosa) of Yuma, AZ, Ralph Castañeda (Margi) of Yuma, AZ, Sal Castañeda (Violet) of Yuma, AZ, and Gil Castañeda (Theresa) of Tempe, AZ; sisters, Gloria Slate (Francis) of Chandler, AZ, Maria Holdren (Sam) of Lemoore, CA, Frances Glass (Greg) of Yuma, AZ, and Carmen Muñoz (Danny) of Yuma, AZ; 17 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandson, Danny James Campbell Jr.; father, Antonio Miramontes; and step-father, Fernando Castañeda.

Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, April 24, 2015 at St. Francis Church, 1815 S. 8th Avenue, Yuma, AZ. Her final resting place will be at Greenwood Memorial Park in San Diego, CA.
