Age 80, of Blackman Township, passed away April 19, 2015 at the Countryside Care Center. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Sharon K., five children, Chuck (Angie) Beck, Debbie (Dave) Cheney, Laurel Barton, Bryan (Amy) Esposti and Peggy (Ralph) Davis, many grandchildren including Alex and Natalie Beck, Michael Cheney and Patti Luttrel and his sister, Carol French. He was preceded in death by his son Chris and his parents, Laurel and Thelma (maiden-Campbell) Beck. He retired from Consumers Power Company after 44 years of service, was a Life Member and Past Master of Coolidge Lodge #532, Free and Accepted Masons in Michigan Center, enjoyed winters in sunny N. Fort Myers at Raintree RV Resort and attended the First Church of the Nazarene (3905 Clinton Way, Jackson) where a Memorial Service honoring his life will be held Thursday, April 23, 2015 at 11 am with Pastor Margie Hein officiating. Visitation at the church one hour prior to services. Contributions in his memory are directed to Allegiance Hospice or charity of the donor’s choice.
