Barry Allen “Clyde” Cook, age 51, of Petersburg, WV passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 result of an automobile accident.
He was born August 24, 1963 in Petersburg, WV and was a son of the late Orville and Anna Merle (Keplinger) Cook.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Orville Bradley Cook on March 29, 2015.
Clyde attended Petersburg High School and was employed by the City of Petersburg until he was disabled.
He was a member of ASPCA and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Clyde is survived by six sisters, Barbara Clark of Maysville, WV, Carol Swick of Petersburg, WV, Marlene Nelson of Cabins, WV, Tonia Crites of Moorefield, WV, Jodie Cook of Petersburg, WV and Holly Cook of Petersburg, WV; four brothers, Ronnie Cook, Doug Cook, Brent Cook and Mark Cook all of Petersburg, WV; a special friend, Debra Burton and several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive family and friends on Friday from 6 – 8 p.m. at the Schaeffer Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in the Schaeffer Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bruce Cosner officiating.
Interment will follow in the Kline Cemetery at Kline, WV.
