Milford L. “Billy” Pettis , 82 of the Mechanicsburg Community of Yazoo County passed away Thursday April 23, 2015 at The G.V. “Sonny “ Montgomery Veteran Affairs Medical Center in Jackson. He was a Body Repairman, a Member of Satartia First Baptist Church, and a U. S. Army Veteran of the Korean War.
Visitation will be Friday April 24 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. at Stricklin-King Funeral Home in Yazoo City. Services will be Saturday April 25 at 10:00 A.M. at Satartia First Baptist Church followed by internment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery on Highway 433 in Yazoo County. Rev. Steven Howell, Rev. Paul Sputka, & Rev. D. J. Speckner will officiate.
