Rebecca Jean Beck, age 49 passed away in a tragic car accident on the morning of April 5, 2015. She was born January 9, 1966 in Gloversville and the wife of the late Raymond Beck. She was also the daughter of the late James W. Myers. She graduated in 1984 from Mayfield High School.
Becky was an RN that had worked in various hospitals over the years. She was currently working as a traveling nurse assigned in West Virginia. She enjoyed cooking, crafts, shopping and camping and she loved her family.
Survivors include her mother Charlotte E Myers of Gloversville, one sister Mary Jo Myers currently of NYC, one daughter Jennifer Stock of Mayfield, one son Jordan Starks of Mechanicville, and one step daughter Katy Beck.
A service of remembrance for Rebecca Beck will take place on Friday April 10, 2015 at 1 p.m.. A calling and visitation period will be at 12 Noon to 1 p.m.with a funeral service at 1pm at Gloversville Funeral Service, 4 Second Ave, Gloversville.
Contributions may be sent to Charlotte Myers at 2 Frontage Road Apt #509, Gloversville, NY to aid in expenses.
A celebration of life will follow for Becky and Ray Beck from 2pm to 6pm at the Johnstown Moose Lodge.
