Reba I. Wells

Reba I. Wells, 83 of Monroe, died at 5:40 pm Tuesday at ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital. She had been in poor health since December.
Family and friends may call from 4 to 8 pm Friday at the Rupp Funeral Home. She will lie instate Saturday 10 am at the Shelton Park Church of God, with funeral services at 11 am. Rev. Scott Isham, pastor, will officiate, and burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park, LaSalle.
Born March 8, 1932 in Monroe, she was the daughter of Edgar and Lillie (Evans) Mosingo. She married Wetzel Wells on May 14, 1958 in Monroe. He preceded her in death on January 25, 1997.
Reba was a homemaker, but had been employed for a short time as a dietitian at Mercy Hospital.
She attended the Shelton Park Church of God.
Surviving are her sons Michael Cox of Monroe, Larry (Darlene) Wells of Blissfield and Gary (Lorraine) Wells of Monroe; daughters Gail (William) Ford of Ida, Tammy (Arnold) Jaufmann of Jupiter, Florida and Pamela Wells of Monroe; step-daughter Sandy (Larry) Lambert of Carleton; brother Herschel Mosingo of LaSalle; ten grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Wetzel and brother Eugene Mosingo.
