Burial will follow at Jersey Settlers Cemetery in Kingston under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Friday at the church.
Mr. Simmons was born September 21, 1934 in Magnolia, the son of Clyde Franklin Simmons and Golda Chloe McGehee Simmons. He was retired from Armstrong Tire and Rubber Company. He was an avid coon hunter and was involved in the neighborhood watch. Mr. Simmons a member of Cliff Temple Baptist Church and served as a constable for Adams County Constable for eight years. He was also a Mason and a Shriner.
Mr. Simmons was preceded in death by his parents, a grandson, Trenton Simmons Jr., and a brother, Bernard Simmons.
