Jessie Etta Parker was born September 9, 1866.
Onl July 2, 1884 she was united in marriage to Isaac Milledge. To this union ten children were born. Four, with the father and companion, have preceeded her in death.
Mrs. Milledge had made her home for several years with her daughter, Mrs. Bessie Morbito in Des Moines, Iowa where she passed away after several weeks illness, a viral infection. All that loving hands and doctors could do was done, but she passed away on Friday, June 6, 1952.
She leaves the following two daughters and four sons: Lillie McCombs of Ablia, Iowa and Bessie Morbito of Des Moines, Iowa: Tracy of Pella, Iowa, Ollie of Harvey, Iowa, Joe and Clyde of Des Moines. Twenty grandchildren.
Mrs. Milledge had a host of friends and neighbors who with the family will mourn her passing.
Funeral services were held on Monday June 9, 1952 at 10:00 a.m. from the Cooperative Garden Chapel. The Reverend Mr. A. Haverkamp officiated. Burial was in Porterville Cemetery.
