John Watkins Receives Word of the Death of his Sister - Mrs. Edith Jensen.
John Watkins received a telegram Monday, telling of the death of his sister Mrs. Edith Jensen at her home at Pennock, Minn. on Sunday. She was the former Edith Watkins, widow of the late Andrew Jensen. The family formerly lived on a farm north of Bradford. She was born at Horton, the oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Darius Watkins, and was about 70 years of age.
She is survived by five children, Walter and Edward at the farm home, and Marie, Glen and Helen who are married, but we are unable to secure the married names of the daughters. She is also survived by three brothers and four sisters; John of Nashua; Mrs. Cecil Shufelt (Nellie), Claud and Lee of Charles City; Mrs. Sam McWilliams (Mabel) of Chicago; Mrs. Fannie Hall of Cedar Rapids; and Mrs. Maud Week of Dixon Ill. Funeral services will be Friday afternoon and burial will be in the family lot at Pennock.
