Lee R. "Pete" Newman, 78, of Morrilton, passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2015. He was born July 7, 1936, in Oppelo, Arkansas, a son of the late Mark Matthew Newman and Thelma Lee Seay Hilliard. He was an Air Force Veteran, Administration Manager for Green Bay Packing, and a member of the Downtown Church of Christ in Morrilton.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Robertson Newman, a grandson, Aaron Stobaugh, and sister, Ladean Cagle.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 24th at Morrilton Downtown Church of Christ with Mr. George Hulett officiating. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton.
