Julian Clark, age 80, of Lawrenceville passed away on Tuesday April 21, 2015 after an extended illness. Funeral Services will be held on Friday April 24, 2015 at 11:00 AM in the Lawrenceville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home. Dr. Doug Gilreath will officiate. Mr. Clark was a lifelong resident of Lawrenceville, a graduate of Lawrenceville High School, and served in the US Army. He was employed as an announcer and Chief Engineer for WLAW in Lawrenceville. He later worked for WSB and WGST in Atlanta as a Radio Engineer until his retirement. Mr. Clark is preceded in death by: Parents: Rip John & Bessie June Woodward Clark. He is survived by: Sons & Daughters-in-law: Chris & Debbie Clark, Lawrenceville; David & Beth Clark, Oxford; Daughters: Lisa Clark McKnight, Lawrenceville; Melanie Clark, Roswell; Brother: Danny Clark, Lawrenceville; Sister: Ellen Carol Clark, Porterdale; Grandchildren: Davis Clark, Columbus; Matthew & Sam Clark, Oxford; & a host of family & friends. The family would like to thank Simona Iovescu & the staff at Cristian’s House, Loganville for their excellent care of our father during his stay in their home.
