Christopher LeRoy Beck was the "Man of few words." He was very smart, loving, quiet, and to himself. He was a hardworking man and came from a family of farmers. He loved the outdoors and coincided with fishing and hunting. Chris resided in Somerton, Arizona and was raised by his father Leroy, and his mother Sybil. Chris was the middle sibling of three. Two of which were his sisters, Linda and Renee. Chris graduated from Kofa High School in 1966 along side with his high school sweet heart, Alison Adair. They were later married and moved to Tucson for a short while. While in Tucson, Chris attended the University of Arizona and was very well known within the Agricultural Department. Chris and Alison later moved back to Yuma, Arizona where they raised a family of two. Gabriel Beck and Erin Beck. Chris owned a pig farm for a period of time which resided on his property in Somerton, Arizona. Chris also worked as a field sprayer in a partly owned business named Border Applicators. After the business, Chris then employed himself within the Water Users. He was employed with the Water Users until his untimely death. He was a very respected man and was loved by many. He will never be forgotten and will remain in the hearts of his close family and friends forever.
