Son of John and Julia Barnett, brother to Emma and George.

William married Rhoda Mahalia Doty April 6th, 1892, in
Dupont, Waupaco County, Wisconsin.

He was a painter by profession.

Three children blessed their household: Walter, Nina and Roland.

In 1910, he was a "Camp Boss" for a local lumber company. He, his wife and children lived in the household of his in- laws at this time.
Not much changed in the next 10 years, except the passing of his in-laws and his job included grading lumber at the lumber yard. They lived on Lafayette Street in Hawkins.

By 1930, the couple had moved to Chicago, Illinois, 1726 La Salle Street. Son Roland remained with his parents. William's occupation was now listed as a carpenter in the building industry.

William would live to see his 69th birthday, another 7 years.
