Mrs. Ezell worked at Manteno State Hospital. She was born Jan. 22, 1932, in Earle, Ark., the daughter of John D. and Annie Settles Hollowell.
Surviving are her husband, Joe E. Ezell, of Pembroke Township, whom she married in Chicago; one son, Joseph Eddie Ezell and Kimberly Taylor, of Kankakee; five daughters and three sons-in-law, Marilyn Walker, of Washington, D.C., Fran and Rodney H. Watkins, Selma J. and Ulysses Grant Sr., Angela M. and Quintin A. Grant, all of Pembroke Township, and Deatrea Ezell, of Dallas, Texas; 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; and one brother and sister-in-law, Johnnie C. Sr. and Ruth Hollowell.
She was preceded in death by her parents; stepmother, Henrietta Hollowell; five sisters, Ozell Williams, Geraldine Smith, Magnolia White, Helen Davis and Erlene Taylor; and three brothers, Cecil Hollowell Sr., Cleveland Hollowell Sr. and James Taylor Sr.
