Karen Lynn Chapman, 55, of The Villages, FL, passed away peacefully at the Hock Family Hospice Pavilion Monday March 9,2015 in Durham North Carolina. Karen was a high energy physicist before working in the financial industry traveling around the world as a computer analyst. She ended her career as a financial programmer in Charlotte,North Carolina and London England. Karen enjoyed sailing, traveling, golf and hula dancing. She is survived by her parents Richard & Linda Chapman of The Villages Fl, mother Anita Chapman of Rochester NY and her brother and wife James & Karen Chapman of Jupiter Florida, many aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces. A celebration of Karen’s life service will be held at her family’s home in The Village of Lynnhaven at 967 Livingston Loop on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to: Hock Family Pavilion, 4023 North Roxboro Street, Durham, NC 27704. Her family hopes you will join them in the Celebration of Karen’s life.
