Mary Virginia Adams, age 88, passed away on April 20, 2015, at Maplewood, Sauk Prairie. She was born on May 14, 1926, in Harrison County, W.V., the daughter of Charlie and Ethel (Wigner) Spriggs. Mary married Marvin Ford on May 19, 1945, in Texas, he preceded her in death. Later, she married James Adams on February 18, 1966, in Virginia. Mary enjoyed bowling, word searches, reading, and shopping. She and her husband were stationed all over the United States before settling down in Madison. Mary worked for Karmenta Nursing Home. Mary is survived by her children; 15 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and special friend. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Marvin Ford and James Adams; son, Marvin Ford Jr.; daughter, Deborah Landphier, two infant daughters, Rosemary and Elizabeth Ann; grandsons, Robert Ford and Gregory Streeter; great-granddaughter, Erika Jean Perry; and sisters, Pauline Jones and Maxine Huey. Burial at Sunset Memory Gardens. Gunderson East.
