Marie Drott, 92, formerly of Florence, Mississippi, passed from this life on Saturday, April 18, 2015 in Hammond, Louisiana.

Visitation will be held from 12:00pm to 2:00pm, Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Funeral services will follow at 2:00pm in the funeral home chapel with interment in the Briarhill Baptist Church Cemetery in Florence.

She was born Thursday, July 6, 1922 in West Monroe, Louisiana, a daughter of the late Pat Finnegan and Lillie Forbes Finnegan.

During her years in Florence, Mrs. Drott was a member of Briarhill Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School. For the past several years, she has lived at her fishing camp on the bayou of Westwego Canal in Louisiana. Her hobbies included fishing, bird watching, and tending to the beautiful flowers and plants she grew.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, DeWitt Drott; son, Everette Jerry Musgrove, Sr.; daughter, Theresa Faye Popham; brothers, Jerry Finnegan, Tim finnegan and Mike Finnegan; sister, Mae Musgrove; and grandchildren, Everette Jerry Musgrove, Jr., Kenny Musgrove and Wilson Popham.
