He was born January 3, 1922, in Harrison, Michigan, the son of the late Frederick and Viola (Peck, Bond) Anger.
Mr. Bond retired January 1, 1987, after 22 years of service with Georgia-Pacific.
He is survived by 2 brothers; Chester Bond and wife Virginia of Harrison and Edward Bond of Portland, a sister, Nellie (Curns) Piper of Harrison, a half-sister, Louise (Havenga) Krueger and husband Edwin of Wisconsin and Texas plus many nieces and nephews.
Raymond was preceded in death by his wife Evelin and two brothers, Reeve and Elmer Bond.
Cremation has taken place at Autumn Valley Crematory, Prudenville, Michigan. Memorial services were held Saturday, March 17, 2001 at the home of Chester and Virginia Bond in Harrison (Leota). (The Clare County Cleaver – Harrison, MI – 22 March 2001)
