Lula Frances West Allen, age 89, passed away on Monday, April 20, 2015 in Frankfort, Kentucky.
She was a member a Cropper Christian Church.
She is preceded in death by husband, Samuel David "Dave" Allen, siblings, Mildred Nichols and Charles West; and two grandchildren, Robin Denise and Harold Scott.
She is survived by children, David Lee Allen of Frankfort, Fred West Allen of Shelbyville, Roy Mack Allen of Mt. Vernon, and Linda Marie Lawson of Finchville; sister, Betsy Hanson of Alaska; 11 grandchilren; and numerous great and great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, April 25, 2015 at the Shannon Funeral Home. Visitation is 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial is at Shady Lawn Cemetery.
