8 o’clock this morning at her home, 921 S. 22nd street, after
suffering a stroke Sunday.
The body will be removed to the residence from the Leschke
funeral home Tuesday afternoon. Funeral services will be held
Thursday morning at nine o’clock at St. Boniface church with
the Rev. Anthony Jaeckle officiating. Burial will be in Calvary
cemetery.
Mrs. Mrotek, whose maiden name was Pekulik, was born in
Poland Nov. 25, 1866. She came to the United States at the
age of 16 and resided in this vicinity for the remainder of her life.
She as married 40 years ago and her husband died 12 years ago.
The surviving relatives are four daughters, Mrs. Edward Raduenz,
Mrs. Tom Korbal, Mrs. Max Fricke and Mrs. Clarence Schaft,
all of this city, one son Edwin of this city, 20 grandchildren
and 17 great-grandchildren.
