ELMER F. MEYER (d. 1963)

Elmer F. Meyer, 61, of 1415 Philippen St., Manitowoc, died Thursday night at Holy Family Hospital where he had been a patient 12 days.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and at 10 a.m. at St. Andrew Catholic Church with the Rev. D. L. Krembs officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Mr. Meyer was born Aug. 11, 1901, at St. Nazianz, son of the late Mathew Meyer and Mrs. Katherine Meyer. He came to Manitowoc as a child and married Alva Metzger Nov. 23, 1926, at Manitowoc. His mother, Mrs. Katherine Meyer, formed partnership with William Adelmann and the two
formed the Meyer-Adelmann Garbage Hauling Service.

Among survivors are a son, Donald of Manitowoc; a daughter, Mrs. Owen Anholt of Manitowoc; his mother, Mrs. Katherine Meyer of Manitowoc; two brothers, Albert and Alphonse of Manitowoc; a sister, Mrs. William Adelmann; and seven grandchildren.
A brother preceded him in death.

Friends may call after 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home where the Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.
