David Jay Mayo was born March 29, 1969 in Dallas, TX and passed away on April 19, 2015 as a result of a tragic car accident on the way to work at DFW airport.

David graduated from RL Turner High School in 1987 and The University of Texas at Dallas where he was a member of the SAE fraternity. He loved music and his number one priority was his family and his church where he was a Deacon. David was an officer for the US Customs and Border Protection.

Preceded in death by his father, Bobby Joe Mayo. Survived by his wife; Misti; daughters, mother, Angie along with many special family and friends.

A Celebration Service will be held on Friday, April 24, 2015 at Lewisville Church of Christ, Lewisville, TX. Following the service there will be an interment at Restland Memorial Park led by the officers of US Customs and Border Protection.
