She was born in Mingo Jct. on August 23, 1933, a daughter of the late Michele and Adeline DiCarlo Panetta.
She was a buyer at the Hub in Steubenville, a cook in the cafeteria at St. Anthony's School and a homemaker – she loved to cook for her family. She was a member of Triumph of the Cross Catholic Church, formerly St. Anthony Catholic Church.
In addition to her parents, Theresa was preceded in death by her brothers, Joseph Panetta and Carl Panetta, and a sister, Eleanor "Nori" (Panetta) O'Brien.
Surviving are her husband, Alfred Nino Bonaventura; her son, Michael Joseph (Linda) Bonaventura of Keysville, Va.; her daughter, Nerina "Nori" Adele Bonaventura of Chicago, IL; her grandchildren, Brandon, Adam and Victoria; and several brothers and sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd, Steubenville, Wednesday, from 4-8 p.m. There will be a vigil service 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, led by Sr. Ellen F. Dunn, O.P. A Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated 12:30 p.m. Thursday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Fr. Thomas Nau, celebrant. Burial at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
