Raymond Vaughn, 65, of Dallas, died Monday, April 6, 2015, in Tyler.

He was born July 17, 1949, in Glenwood, Arkansas, the son of Hilrey and Rosa Lee Burchfield Vaughn. He was preceded in death by his parents; stepmother, Glowie Vaughn; wives, Kathleen Vaughn and Ruby Vaughn; and brother, Odell Vaughn.

He was a graduate of Glenwood High School, Henderson State University and University of Arkansas-School of Law. He was retired from Southwestern division of AT&T in Dallas and also worked in Greenville and Tyler.

Survivors include his brother and sister-in-law, Ricky and Linda Vaughn, of Tyler; niece, Heather Vaughn Bankhead, of Amity, Arkansas; Dave Bain, of Tyler, whom Raymond considered to be his adopted brother; three stepsisters, Twyla Anderson and husband Jimmy, of Glenwood, Arkansas, Audrey Baker, of Wake Village, and Linda Wood and husband Mike, of Hot Springs, Arkansas; and numerous friends and co-workers in Tyler and Dallas.

It was Raymond's request that no services were to be held.

Burial was in Mount Tabor Cemetery, in Glenwood, April 9, 2015.
