Her funeral will be 4:00 PM Wednesday afternoon, April 22, 2015, in the CHAPEL OF DIAL-MURRAY FUNERAL HOME, MONCKS CORNER. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery, 684 Broughton Rd., Moncks Corner. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Tuesday evening.
Mrs. Huff was born September 1, 1954, in Moses Lake, WA, a daughter of James Parker Lyons and Doris McJunkin Lyons. She was a member of the Cordesville Pentecostal Holiness Church, where she was the president of the Women’s Ministry. Mrs. Huff enjoyed cooking, especially for her children, grandchildren, and church family, and also loved working in her flower gardens and vegetable garden. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Jimmy Lyons and Raymond Lyons.
Surviving are, her husband, Newton J. Huff; four daughters, Erica Fann and her husband, Kevin, of Moncks Corner, Amanda Sweat and her husband, David, of Moncks Corner, Nina Bellamy of Cottageville, and Samantha Cochran of Moncks Corner; two sons, Shawn Huff of Moncks Corner, and Buddy Huff and his wife, Harriette, of Sangaree; an aunt, Geneva Strickland of Aston; eleven grandchildren, Corey Layman, D.J. Atchley, Jordanne White and her husband, Robert, Trevor Atchley, Morgan Fann, Kevin Fann, Jr., and his wife, Libby, Ricky Fann and his wife, Morgan, Christina Alberten, Megan Victory, Colton Jordan, and Gage Huff; five great grandchildren, Karly Fann, Dakota White, Krystabella Atchley, Kennedy Fann, and Brielle Layman; her church family; and numerous nieces, nephews, and others whom she was known to as "mom" or "nana".
