Max Wilkerson Morgan, 75, Joplin, died April 8, 2014 at his residence. He was born to Guy and Daisy (Bennett) Morgan on May 1, 1939 on the family farm in the Tipton Ford Community. Max was the fifth generation to live on Century Farm, where the Morgan family had lived and farmed since 1852. He retired from the City of Joplin, Parks and Recreation Department in 1999 after 14 years of service. Max was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Neosho. He loved farming, Farmall tractors and his church family. Max married (private) on October 28, 1960 in Neosho, and she survives. Also surviving are two sons, (private); and three grandchildren, (private).
